Modeling a kid's toy

I've noticed over the past few years that a lot of time have passed and there's a lot of things I wish I had done.
One of these things is to create interesting models, in 2D or 3D, to enjoy my passion and connect with the world.
Recently, I had the chance to revisit what it meant for me to "work". I now go by the principle: "the more time and effort you put in, the more results you get out".
With that spirit of mind, I have set the goal of producing one interesting model per week in 2018. It won't really matter "what" the project is, because after a week of effort put in to it, it ought to be meaningful.
This week, I visited a library to bring a kid to an indoor playground. I noticed one of the toys that abounded with interesting geometry. Even more interesting was that I quickly recognized that I could animate all the parts in Fusion 360.

I started on a Monday and by Friday I was happy with the result. I enjoyed having the chance of furthering something in the right direction day by day.
All the widgets have been modelled and most of the motion is functional in Fusion 360 as well. I have made use of components, joints and contact sets to create all the motion.
